With 14 years of experience in the cultural sector, Fiona has led teams to deliver outstanding digital and exhibition programs globally. Notably, at the Wellcome Collection in London, they championed inclusivity in a groundbreaking permanent gallery. Fiona’s career has always prioritized community engagement, from online communities and games to museums.

They’ve worked with iconic institutions like MoMA in New York, Royal Museums Greenwich, and the Science Museum in London. Fiona initiated citizen science projects, photography competitions, and collaborations with Wikimedia to enrich the cultural landscape.

Fiona’s adventurous spirit has led them to live in diverse cultural hubs and explore mountains. In February 2020, they joined the Wikimedia Foundation, nurturing a diverse community of practice that aims to diversify Wikipedia’s content sources and media.

A dedicated Wikimedian since 2008, Francesc Fort has been a driving force in the world of Wikimedia, with a primary focus on the Catalan Wikipedia. His commitment and contributions to the Wikimedia movement have left an indelible mark on the community.

Francesc has demonstrated his passion for Wikimedia not only through his work on Catalan Wikipedia but also through his role as a Metaorganizer in the Land of Valencia. His tireless efforts have helped foster collaboration and growth within the Wikimedia community in this region.

Beyond his regional contributions, Francesc is known for his involvement in exciting initiatives like “Suena Wiki Reloaded” and “Wikivibrance.” These projects showcase his dedication to expanding Wikimedia’s impact and reach, making Wikipedia and its sister projects more vibrant and accessible to a wider audience.

One of Praveen’s standout strengths lies in their ability to cultivate meaningful partnerships that drive positive change. Over the years, they have consistently expanded regional partnerships, addressing the diverse needs of various organizations and creating a rich tapestry of opportunities for collaboration. Their expertise extends beyond the professional realm, as they are deeply invested in addressing education development issues in their region, particularly focusing on ensuring equal access to education in remote areas and harnessing technology to make education more accessible to all.

Hailing from the vibrant city of Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh, known as the “City of Nawabs,” Praveen is not only a professional but also a passionate advocate for their local community. When not engaged in their professional endeavors, you can often find them in the kitchen, whipping up culinary delights, or enjoying playful moments with their daughter, a testament to their boundless creativity and love for family.

Currently, Praveen serves as a crucial member of the Regional Partnerships Team at the Wikimedia Foundation, with a specific focus on partnerships spanning South Asia. In this role, they actively seek out strategic opportunities for collaboration with like-minded companies, nonprofit organizations, governments, and other stakeholders at the intersection of technology and education. Strategy Liaison at the Wikimedia Foundation

Alex Stinson, a respected and long-time contributor to English Wikipedia, Wikidata, and Commons, has been a vital force within the Wikimedia community since 2010. Their unwavering commitment to enhancing Wikipedia’s quality and expanding its reach is evident through their extensive involvement in various Wikimedia programs and their profound contributions.

In their role as the project manager of The Wikipedia Library, Alex Stinson played a pivotal role in facilitating access to valuable sources, thereby enriching Wikipedia’s content. They also generously dedicated their time and expertise to support the Wikipedia Education Program, fostering a culture of learning and knowledge sharing among students globally. Furthermore, Alex Stinson has been a strong advocate for GLAM-Wiki outreach, effectively bridging the gap between the Wikimedia community and galleries, libraries, archives, and museums.

Currently serving as a Lead Program Strategist at the Wikimedia Foundation, Alex Stinson focuses on the development of support for Content Campaigns. Their responsibilities include aiding Movement Organizers in running content campaigns, documenting best practices, and enhancing technical and social workflows for effective organizing. Notable projects they’ve advised on include Project GLOW and campaigns such as WikiForHumanRights and 1lib1ref. These campaigns, generated from the Foundation, serve as experiments to refine campaign organization practices, showcase the viability of various tactics, and align the Foundation’s resources with strategic topics, partnerships, and communities for the Global Movement.

Alex Stinson has also played a pivotal role in establishing the GLAM-Wiki team at the Wikimedia Foundation, demonstrating their commitment to strengthening the relationship between Wikimedia and cultural institutions. Additionally, they have developed The Wikipedia Library’s research partnership program, furthering the cause of free knowledge.
